There is no better way to enjoy the great fall weather than a walk through the vineyard with your favorite fur-ball while raising money to help those who cannot help themselves. Join us for our 2nd Annual Wine & Walk for the Animals on Sunday, Oct. 25, from 11:00 am–5:00 pm. This year the fundraiser is for Loudoun Community Cat Coalition—because 8 Chains North loves our four-legged friends!
Activities include live music all day, vendors with crafts and useful items, corn hole tournament, wine-tasting giveaways, raffle, canine costume contest, food for purchase from The Farm Effect and—the highlight—a one mile family- and dog-friendly walk through the vineyard for you and your leashed pet. The day kicks off with the first vineyard walk at 11:00 am and we’ll have three more throughout the day. Vineyard walk times:
11:0 0am, 1:00 pm, 2:45 pm, 4:45 pm
Donations will be accepted at the door ($20 suggested donation). Visit us in the Tasting Room and 20% of all net sales that day will go to LCCC and animals in need of healthcare and funding to help them find forever homes. There will also be pre-paid-for tastings given away to 130 lucky people!
Live music provided by:
11:30 am-1:00 pm Victor Torres & Pappy Hipneck
1:15 pm-2:45 pm The Arcadians—Fantastic Dixieland Jazz
3:00 pm-4:45 pm GLAURIE
Please be advised that this is a very dog-friendly event taking place at our winery today! All dogs will be on leashes, except in the dog park, and must be supervised, licensed, vaccinated, and wearing proper tags.
Please register here if you are interested in being a vendor or sponsor.
